The INVEOR MP & INVEOR MP Modular
Modular offer a flat surface on the lid, which enables the customer to install his own operating elements, for example. Robust industrial connectors from Harting enable the supply voltage to be connected quickly. A daisy chain is also possible with this option. With its convenient cutting connection, the QUICKON connector from Phoenix Contact makes it easy to connect the supply voltage. For processes with high starting torque and dynamic ramps, 200% overload is available for 3 seconds and 150% for 60 seconds. 

INVEOR MP Modular:
The extended equipment of M12 connectors for connecting inputs/outputs and fieldbuses in combination with industrial connectors from Harting and QUICKON connectors from Phoenix Contact make the INVEOR MP Modular 100% pluggable on request. This means that the housing cover no longer has to be opened to connect the device.  Thanks to the integrated braking resistor, dynamic processes can be implemented without additional, external braking resistors. By selecting an optional module, further additional functions can be implemented, such as an integrated main switch or EMC filter. With CANopen and Modbus, the INVEOR MP Modular offers two communication options directly on its intelligent power section. In addition to communication via fieldbus, the INVEOR MP Modular can also be controlled via Bluetooth. With its intelligent power section, the INVEOR MP Modular directly integrates two fieldbuses. The INVEOR MP offers a Bluetooth interface that can be integrated either as a permanently installed solution or as a pluggable variant via the M12.

INVEOR MP: 
The INVEOR MP has a safety function (STO) that can be configured by selecting the appropriate integrated application PCB.  With CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet and Sercos, the INVEOR MP offers compatibility with almost all common control environments. The customer can select the relevant bus system and integrate the INVEOR MP ideally into the control environment of his application. In addition to communication via fieldbus, the INVEOR MP can also be controlled via Bluetooth.  The INVEOR MP offers a Bluetooth interface that can be integrated either as a permanently installed solution or as a pluggable variant via the M12. 

Operation and monitoring: 
For operation, the INVEOR MP & INVEOR MP Modular offer a membrane keypad, an external and an integrated MMI hand-held operating device, operation via an external touch operator terminal and PC software. These are described in detail in the INVEOR M. In addition, the INVEOR MP & the INVEOR MP Modular offer further possibilities. The integrated main switch allows the supply voltage to be disconnected at all poles. The KOSTAL INVERTERapp offers a particularly convenient way of commissioning and controlling the application. Cloning devices by simply copying parameter sets is also very easy. 

Motor adaptation:
The innovative adaptation concept of the INVEOR MP Modular is identical to that of the INVEOR M and comprises an extensive range of standard and motor-specific adapter plates. The INVEOR MP Modular can thus be adapted to almost any motor on the market. Add-on plates for wall mounting are also available. For mechanical installation of the drive controller on the motor, the INVEOR adapter plate (ADP) is installed instead of the terminal box. The INVEOR can then be plugged directly onto this plate (plug-and-play). Almost any motor can be adapted using the large number of adapter plates available. The matching adapter plates can be found in the accessories section. 

Control procedure: 
The INVEOR MP Modular convinces with its innovative control technology and supports all motor variants (synchronous reluctance, synchronous and asynchronous motors) up to efficiency class IE5 with maximum energy efficiency of the drive controller. It has all the control characteristics of the INVEOR M and also offers the following features. The INVEOR MP Modular supports all motor technologies from asynchronous motors to various PM synchronous motors and synchronous reluctance motors. The innovative control technology of the INVEOR drive controller without encoder feedback enables a speed setting range of 1:200. This means that processes requiring very high precision can also be mapped. The torque control and torque limitation enables the use in applications such as extruder screws or winding applications where constant torque is particularly important. The function is available in the complete speed setting range without additional encoder feedback. The highly developed control technology of the INVEOR MP Modular controls the most modern motors up to efficiency class IE5 and up.
